Bible Study

Holy Trinity offers several opportunities to participate in a Catholic Bible Study. If you have wanted to study and pray with Scripture, consider joining one of the following groups.  Most groups meet in the Spiritual Life Center.  Each group selects its own study materials.  Below you will find the study themes and dates planned for the fall of 2018.

Amos/Hosea/Micah: A Call to Justice - The prophets Amos, Hosea and Micah, convey in no uncertain terms what God thinks about oppression, injustice, and neglect of the poor. Monday afternoon- 12:30-2:30 PM in the Spritual Life Center - Arrive  at 12:30 for hospitality and prayer; the study begins at 1 PM.
Saved - What does it mean to be saved? Can I know that I am saved? As Christians, and especially as Catholics, we face these questions on a daily basis, not only from the people we meet but also in our own hearts. Scripture tells the story of our salvation.  In this Bible study, Fr. Mitch Pacwa tackles tough topics and questions, including grace and free will, repentance and faith, the role of the sacraments, and the necessity of good works. The study book costs $10.  Facilitator is Rachel Schrepferman.  Dates for meetings are September 10, 17, 24, October 22, 29, November 5, and 19
